Marilyn J. Samuels is experienced in litigation and mediation and has been practicing for over 12 years. Recently, she moved her law practice from Bay Street to rural North Halton. Areas of practice include divorce, separation, family, employment, small business, personal injury/disability claims and general litigation matters.

She brings a wide diversity and understanding to her practice as a result of her previous experiences in the insurance industry  and as a small business owner in the field of publishing. She is a strong proponent of mediation and encourages her clients to use the mediation process  whenever possible. Mediation can be used to help resolve any dispute. It is less expensive than litigation, and problems can be resolved more quickly.  In family law matters Marilyn offers a unique affiliation with a Registered Social Worker, who is experienced in family dynamics, child development & marriage break up.

Her training includes degrees from Queen’s, UNB and certificates from the University of Toronto and the Centre for Dispute Resolution in Boulder, Colorado. Areas of practice include divorce, family, wills, employment, small business, personal injury/disability & insurance law.
